🥳 🥳 🥳 🥳 🥳 🥳 🥳
What started as a bold idea from Vincent Meurrens and Matthys Potgieter to use artificial intelligence for public health has grown into a company trusted by governments, NGOs, and health leaders across the globe.

Our journey began with three pioneering projects in Pakistan (Together with), Nigeria, and South Africa. Organizations like KIT, Mercy Corps and Gates Foundation, SFH/IHVN, and AQUITY Innovations NPC were pioneers who believed in our innovative technology, giving us the opportunity to prove that AI-driven insights could transform Active Case Finding and strengthen health systems. Their trust laid the foundation for everything that followed.
From those early beginnings, EPCON has expanded to support projects in the Philippines, Uganda, Kenya, and the Central African Republic, and to broaden our focus beyond tuberculosis. Today, our #AI-models are applied to HIV, Ebola, Lassa Fever, cardiovascular diseases, and even leprosy, helping health actors allocate resources smarter, and save more lives.
The past year has not been without challenges. Our collaboration with USAID tested our resilience and adaptability, pushing us to grow stronger as a team and as a company. Overcoming these hurdles has only reinforced our belief in the importance of our mission.
None of this would have been possible without the dedicated EPCON team. Your hard work, creativity, and commitment are the driving force behind our impact.

Seven years in, we remain just as ambitious as on day one: using technology to strengthen health systems, empower decision-makers, and improve lives across the world.
Here’s to the next chapter. 🚀
